500 Internal Server Error and Different Way to Fix It

  • Increase PHP Memory Limit – Increasing memory should be straight forward. You have to find wp-config.php file using FTP. You can find file within root directory and clicking VIEW/ Edit option in text editor. From here paste define (‘WP_Memory_Limit’,’64M’).   • Creating new .htaccess file – It is more similar to renaming a plugins folder. Simply open your website through FTP. Find .htaccess file in root directory and rename it.
